In an effort to preserve the equal enjoyment for everyone at Ironhorse, we ask that all guests follow the rules and expectations outline below:
Conduct
At it’s heart, Golf is a social game and therefore a shared experience. As such, all guests are expected to treat one another, Ironhorse associates, and the facility with respect and courtesy. This includes, but is not limited to, following the requests and instructions given by Ironhorse associates. A person who is found to be acting in a disrespectful manner towards other guests, associates, interfering with facility operations, mistreating the course, equipment, and facilities may be asked to leave property. Depending on the severity of actions, prosecution may be sought.
Safety
For the safety of all, guests are expected to act in a safe manner at all times, including following any and all instructions given by staff. Guests shall not engage in any behavior which may put their safety, and/or the safety of those around them, at risk. The use of golf carts will be limited to those age 16 years or older who also possess a valid Driver’s License. All guests using a golf cart represent that they are familiar with the operation and use of a golf cart and agree to return the golf cart immediately following the completion of play in the same condition as when received. All guests agree to pay for any damage to the golf cart which may occur while the golf cart is in their possession. All guests further agree to waive, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, any and all rights to assert a claim(s), suits, damages, or cause(s) of action against Ironhorse Golf Club, the City of Leawood, KS, and Troon Golf, LLC, which they may have arising from the use of a golf cart on the premise. By paying for golf and any other ways in which authorization as been given for use of a golf cart, all guests are accepting our waiver language for themselves, and any other for whom they have paid.
Attire
Ironhorse is a family friendly environment and we ask that all guests preserve this with their attire. Traditional golf attire consisting of collared shirts, golf slacks, shorts, and skorts are always preferred. However, t-shirts, denim, and some gym attire may be worn such that it remains tasteful and family friendly. Apparel displaying offensive language and/or images will not be allowed. Additionally, clothing which is overly revealing and otherwise not conducive for a family friendly environment will not be permitted. As a general rule, tank tops are not allowed. All guests are required to wear shoes at all times. Golf shoes with softspikes are preferred on the course and practice areas, however athletic shoes may also be worn. Hard soled shoes, including those with heels, may not be worn on the golf course or practice areas.
Respect
In accordance with state laws, alcohol may not be brought onto the premises. Additionally, alcohol purchased on property may not be removed, whether opened or unopened.
Range balls and range baskets may not be removed from premises.
Whether paid or unpaid, only those authorized by the City of Leawood and Ironhorse Golf Club may give instruction on property.
The use of any portion of the facility to promote another business or activity without the express authorization given by Ironhorse Golf Club and/or the City of Leawood is strictly prohibited.
For both the primary course and the Par 3 course, all players must check-in and pay the applicable fees prior to the start of their round.
